AFSA Youth Ambassadors Programme The Youth Ambassadors programme - YAP is a youth programme implemented by 22 AFSA youth facilitators within UMgungundlovu district.

Youth facilitators have a mission of transforming lives of youth with several messages of Behaviour Change Communication within seven local municipalities of UMgungundlovu. They reach out of school youth with messages of Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) by establishing sustainable youth clubs, coordinating sport days/ Open days, organising debates and talent shows, conducting community or yout

h dialogues. They also working in cooperative with CDC partners contracted by AFSA. They are mobilising the community and let them accessing CDC biomedical interventions such as HCT, VMMC and other basic health screening. They report to Operation Sukuma Sakhe (OSS) war rooms monthly and they also support events that are being organised by OSS members.
