The MRCT is a group of volunteers that decided to come together and tackle some of Fisantekraal's environmental issues, but more specifically issues related to the Mosselbank River.

Check out our impact the last few months using the City of Cape Town Water and Sanitation Department's Water Grant funding 🌱

The City of Cape Town Water and Sanitation's Water Grant enabled the MRCT to improved biodiversity within the Mosselbank River corridor,  reduced litter and illegal dumping and increased community participation and environmental awareness.

Join us on Saturday as we get our hands dirty for Mandela Day. Bring a long a herb or medicinal plant (no, not the ones you are thinking of 😉) and plant it at our MRCT garden or join our community clean-up. Meet at the MRCT container on Lords Walk. See you Saturday 🌱

START THEM YOUNG.

One of the greatest gifts we can give our children is a sense of responsibility for the environment they will one day inherit.
It is encouraging to see young people taking an active role in the rehabilitation of the Mosselbank River wetland. Projects such as these do more than restore ecosystems. They teach the next generation that conservation is not someone else's responsibility.
