Thank you for this post. Since we heard of Sky, we asked that her death is not in vain, that it's not just a political issue between two parties, but that it becomes a watershed case for ALL K9's in the captivity of so called "security". These dog's life's are non better than caged circus animals are. We agree fully with your words. It's tkme for change on all levels regarding security dogs. 😔😔😔

Cindy, our ray of bright sunshine every single Friday☀️ no matter if we are going to the vets for her TVT treatment or coming back to drop her off.... She just shines of happiness. Always friendly, smiling and happy.

Due to the severety of her TVT she will still need a few more chemo sessions at the total cost of a R1000. Cindy is absolutely worth sponsoring. Her thankfulness has no limitations. 🌸🌸🌸 Kindly consider sponsoring the last of her TVT treatments.

Some days are just more hectic thzn others and some weeks want to break your back, but we push through....

Shabal got poisoned and after a two days of stress and hope he pulled through and are back home. But we still need to pay his Bill of R2605,70

Cody just collapsed and lost his balance and co-ordination. He had a mild stroke and also spend two days in hospital. He is back home and doing well recovering. His bill is also outstanding at R2061,02

Chleo had a full Prolapse of the re**um and had to undergo surgery. He stayed a full week in hospital and we still need to settle his bill too at R2445,80

Kindly think of the work we do and consider donating towards our Vet Bill.

🛻 Two flies with one slap

As you know SHARF is running the back-a-Buddy bakkie campaign. Up till now we only raised R9000.
You also know SHARF constantly need dog and cat food.

🎉 NOW Here's the change to slap two flies with one stroke😁

Yes, Montego Classique dog and cat food (not Monty & Me) are running a Win a Bakkie Campaigne. For every 20kg + bag of Montego dog or 10kg cat food, the buyer can enter the competition and stand a chance to win this awesome Bakkie.
Now we were thinking, if our supporters can buy a bag of Montego and enter the competition on behalf of SHARF, we not only stand a chance to win a Bakkie for SHARF, BUT WE ALSO GET MUCH NEEDED DOG/CAT FOOD.
Kindly consider buying a bag of Montego Classique and ask at the counter to enter the competition which ends 30 November 2026.

Kind regards
Team SHARF💗💗💗💗💗

POST COPIED
By Friend of the Rottweiler Rescue & Re-home South Africa

Months of agony and suffering and the cruelest end that no animal deserves at the hand of South African Police Service.

To every breeder, broker, family who donates dogs to SAPS, Gift of the Givers we ask - how many more?

Why does it take the mutilation of an animal for there to be action?

What about the hundreds of failures who flood the over burdened SPCA’s?

Hang your head in shame.

We are ready for every single handler who wants to come at us and defend a failed system.

IT IS THE ANIMALS WHO PAY THE PRICE NOT YOU WITH A SALARY, WILLING CHOICE AND PENSION!

Every news house who calls for donations of animals this is on you.

In 2026 the chains of slavery are still so apparent - for animals!
