Today, on World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, we pause to recognise the extraordinary people who bring comfort, compassion and dignity to those facing serious illness.

At Settlers Park Retirement Village, we extend a heartfelt thank you to our local PalCare team, whose dedication makes a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Palliative care is about more than medical support. It is about easing discomfort, offering reassurance, listening with kindness and ensuring that every person feels valued, respected and cared for.

To the wonderful PalCare staff who give so generously of their time, expertise and compassion – thank you for the important work you do in our community.
