STOP PLAYING CHURCH

I remember my Childhood experience growing up. When l was a little girl, wearing my lovely dress, no make up or earrings with my hat, socks and shoes, l will graciously follow my Parents to Church. It is the house of God after all. I didn't even think about the fact that l was a Clergy's Daughter. I lived like that for so many years but l did not question it. After all it was the right thing to do.

Fast forward to years later, l have now matured, my understanding of God have grown and now l could make my decision. I started questioning why l attend my local assembly. Was my attendance based on Sentiments or because that is where God wants me to be.

The truth of the matter is that, now l know better. A place of worship should be a place our Ministry/Gifting is fully developed and used for one purpose (to glorify God). Secondly, stop playing church. Even if you choose to stay at your family church, stay not because of sentiment but pray properly about it to know if God really wants you there and strive to grow in his vineyard.

If your decision is to leave after proper prayers. Leave peacefully and with wisdom. The bible talks about Wisdom is profittable to Direct and be at Peace with all men. The fact that you left is your own personal conviction and journey, don't influence other people in that line.

I say again, Stop playing Church

BE PERSISTENT.....DON'T GIVE UP.

So because am taking care of a baby and it's cold, l tend to wake up late. This particular morning, my husband knew l needed to rest so he left me to sleep. While sleeping in the other room, my two year old came and said, mum wake up. I struggled but responded without opening my eyes so he left me alone, then here comes my six year old, he came and switch on the light then he said good morning, l responded again without opening my eyes because l still wanted to go back to sleep. Then he now started asking me questions about how l went out and l did not pick his calls or replied his whatsapp. He was so persistent that l had to wake up and open my eyes to attend to him.

As angry as l was... l learnt that I should be persistent in prayer and not give up all because l have not yet received my answer. Heaven's gate is never shot. What is that School application that you keep getting rejection letter? Don't throw in the towel. Soon it will be day time. Keep praying and keep trying. Don't give up.

Anfani

So my late maternal grandparents lived in a particular area in Ibadan called "Anfani". For more than 38 years l visited them and even called them "Baba Anfani or Mama Anfani". Since its an area they have lived for more than 80 years...

This morning the Lord opened my eyes to see that Anfani in English meant "Opportunity". For more than 38 years, l called a name without attaching any significance to it because the area on its own felt old to me

How many times have we placed a limit on our life because we do not see the opportunity that surround us (afterall, the place is too small? What good can come out of someone like me with a pathetic background? I am not rich? ).

Until l reside in a popular place, l cannot move forward. It is time to Breakforth. Enough of Pity Party. Ask the Lord to open your eyes to see the Opportunity that would bring forth your Breakthrough.
