A FEW WORDS FROM OUR BOARD đź’›

Awareness only creates impact when people know where to turn for help.

In our recent board member interview, Thembi Nkonyane shared an important message about the work of The Hatchet Foundation and the responsibility we all have to spread the word.

THF provides free counselling and support to individuals who may be going through difficult circumstances.

No one should feel like they have to face hardship alone.

Sometimes, making a difference starts with something simple: sharing information with someone who may need it.

đź’› Know someone who needs support? Let them know that THF is here.

A FEW WORDS FROM OUR BOARD đź’›

Change takes more than one person.

In our recent board member interview, Judith Buthelezi shared why collaboration and community involvement are so important to the work of The Hatchet Foundation.

There is still so much work to be done and real impact happens when people, organisations and communities come together to be part of that change.

At THF, we believe that every contribution matters. Whether it's your time, skills, resources, expertise or simply helping us spread the message - there is a role for everyone in creating stronger, healthier communities.

A FEW WORDS FROM OUR BOARD đź’›

Real change doesn't happen through one person or one organisation. It happens when we all recognise that we have a role to play.

In our recent conversation with Portia Twala, THF Board Member, she shared a simple but powerful message:

“There’s a lot of work to be done…”

And she’s right.

Creating stronger, healthier communities requires people who are willing to step forward, use their resources, share their skills and contribute where they can.

At The Hatchet Foundation, we believe change is a collective effort.

If you have the means to make a difference -go ahead and do it.đź’›

How many of these myths have you heard before?

🚫 Let’s Talk About GBV
It’s time to challenge the beliefs that keep harmful behaviour normalised.

GBV isn't just a conversation for victims and survivors. It's a conversation for all of us.

The more we understand, the better equipped we are to recognise harmful behaviour, support those affected and create safer communities.

LET'S CHANGE THE CONVERSATION!!!

GBV thrives in silence.
Awareness creates understanding.
Support creates a pathway forward.

đź’› Speak. Listen. Support.

Which myth do you think we need to challenge the most?
