Mandela Day is more than 67 minutes. It is a reminder that when communities come together, lives can be touched and futures can be shaped.

This Mandela Month, the Vuyo Biyela Foundation will be spending time with 52 beautiful children aged between 1 and 12 years at a local children’s home.

We are calling on individuals, families, and businesses to partner with us by donating essential items such as toiletries, clothing, educational supplies, non-perishable food items, snacks, and other necessities that can help brighten a child’s day.

No contribution is too small. Whether you would like to donate goods, sponsor items, or make a financial contribution, your support will help us create a meaningful and memorable experience for these children.

If you would like to donate items, please contact us to arrange collection or to receive drop-off details. Financial donations are also welcome, and our team will gladly provide the necessary information.

Together, we can share love, restore hope, and remind every child that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

⚽️🩷 The Vuyo Biyela Foundation Football Tournament is more than just a competition on the field. It is an extension of the Vuyo Biyela Foundation’s commitment to creating opportunities, inspiring young people, and bringing communities together through sport.

This was more than just a football tournament. ⚽️🩷🖤

On 25 April 2026, the Vuyo Biyela Foundation brought together young people, families, and communities through the beautiful game. What unfolded was a day filled with talent, passion, teamwork, and unforgettable moments on and off the field.

Football has a way of bringing people together, creating opportunities, building confidence, and reminding young people that their dreams are valid. Seeing so much potential on display was truly inspiring.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, supported, volunteered, and contributed to making the tournament a success. Special appreciation goes to our sponsors , , and for believing in the vision and helping us create a meaningful experience for the players and the community.

There’s something special about kasi football, the energy is different, and the hunger is real.

The Vuyo Biyela Foundation Football Tournament brought together young players carrying more than just talent onto the field, they carried dreams, ambition and the hope that one day football could change their lives.

In kasi, football lives on every corner. It lives in dusty fields, worn-out boots, crowded sidelines and young boys who play like they have everything to prove. Because they do.
