What a fantastic Colour Run we had this past weekend! 🌈

With over 200 young people (Meerkats, Cubs, Scouts, and Rovers) gathered, the event focused on Child Protection and the launch of our Child Protection Youth Forum.

We started with a community walk for awareness, followed by an exciting colour blast. The day concluded with an assembly that highlighted important conversations about child protection, giving young voices a platform and reinforcing our commitment to their safety and well-being.

It was a day full of fun, awareness, and impact!

We are excited to announce our first Color Fun Run event in 2026, aimed at raising awareness for Child Protection and Children's Rights while highlighting the importance of Child Participation. Over the years, we have had a Child Protection Committee that includes a youth representative. However, we've recognized the need for a dedicated forum specifically for youth to address issues related to Child Protection. We will be launching this forum during the event to empower the youth, giving them a platform to voice their concerns and discuss important matters.

We held a very successful Rover Intro Course this past Saturday, the course signals a renewed commitment to empowering young adults to take their place as future leaders of Scouting and their communities.

Rovers play a critical role in shaping resilient, service driven youth who lead with purpose, integrity and responsibility within their communities.

After a busy year filled with lots of activities, what's the best way to wrap it all up? The best way is through color, laughter, fun and learning! Our final event of the year will be the closing color run centered around the theme of Child Participation.

Come ready to walk, run, dance and get splashed with color! As we celebrate the amazing year we’ve had together.
