Taung Skull is a World Heritage Site,in 1924 during lime mine operations the skull was discovered by thie miners.It was not the skull of a babboon nor a human,it was an ape like skull but not a fully human.The skull was named an Australopithecus Africanus by Wits Univ's Prof.Raymond Dart.The skull well known as Taung Child proved that Humans originated in African Continent.
