There’s something special about Saturdays at Under The Oaks Market, especially when the smell of freshly made roti fills the air.

Our rotis have fast become a favourite with market goers, warm, comforting, and made with care. Each one is a small celebration of Cape Malay heritage, honouring tradition, flavour, and the beautiful culture that continues to shape our food and our community.

It’s more than just something to eat. It’s a moment to pause, share, and enjoy something made with heart.

We love seeing familiar faces return week after week for “just one more roti”.

The piece of land allocated to Bethel Farm in the Hermitage is more than just soil and fences. It’s a place of work, purpose, and dignity for the vulnerable families in our care.

This is where our chickens roam and produce the delicious jumbo eggs so many of you love. It’s where wood is worked and prepared, and where manure is gathered and bagged to help keep gardens green and growing.
