To all the matriculants of 2025 we are so proud of you. Completing matric is a huge milestone, and no matter your results, this chapter matters.

To those who did well: well done
Your hard work has opened many doors, and we celebrate you.

Your results do not define your intelligence, your worth, or your future. There are so many opportunities still available for you.

Empowering the Class of 2025!

We had the privilege of attending an exam package day, where we handed out calculators, snacks, and encouragement to our matriculants as they begin their final exams.

I also had the chance to share my story reminding them that no dream is too big and that there are so many career paths waiting for them beyond school.

Through my campaign, Empower Ed, I believe that when we give young people the right resources, we give them the chance to thrive.
A calculator, a word of motivation, or even a moment of guidance can be the spark that changes a young person’s future.

Let’s continue to invest in our youth because when we empower them, we empower our nation.

Sixty-nine years ago, four fearless women Lilian Ngoyi, Helen Joseph, Rahima Moosa, and Sophia Williams led 20,000 women in a march against the pass laws of apartheid South Africa. Their courage was not just about that day; it was about the future they were fighting for a future where women could stand, speak, and lead.
