Coming from a privileged background where sanitation and electricity are taken for granted, it is a real eye-opener to witness people seeking out a living in less savoury urban conditions. So much of an eye-opener that people will pay to see it. Poverty has many faces, changing from place to place and across time, and has been described in many ways. Most often, poverty is a situation people want
to escape.Poverty is hunger. Poverty is being sick and not being able to see a doctor. Poverty is not being able to go to school and not knowing how to read. Poverty is not having a job, is fear for the future, living one day at a time. Poverty is losing a child to illness brought about by unclean water. Poverty is powerlessness, lack of representation and freedom. And yet we ignorantly live around all that but claim to be true believers of God, kind souls and loving. Poor people probably have little interest in inspiring open-minded and wealthy visitors. They want sanitation, electricity, access to health services and jobs that provide a living wage and dignity. So let's unit and fight poverty. We should fight all vices that cause poverty. Educate our people, our children, our friends that poverty is bad. We should educate our children on how we should fight poverty. We should devise plans that would ensure that poverty is wiped out from society. In deed let’s fight poverty with vigor and hard work. Too many of us have clothes, shoes, stationary that's not of use, right?? Like somewhere in your home; in boxes, cupboards, plastics and storerooms. Which you don't need anymore,so why clutter up your space? Why not give to someone who actually needs it? All those things you've got locked could possibly put a huge smile on someone's face,a huge sigh of relief from a parent and possibly assist someone to changing their life. Remove and clean up unnecessary clutter and play a role in changing and touching somebodies life by DONATING. Your donation will be greatly appreciated, it could be anything in good condition from:
Clothes (All sizes and ages)
Shoes
Toys
Stationery
Books
Bags
Toiletries
Food _(suggested that it's non-perishable). All these will be going to the homeless, those living in poor informal areas and very disadvantaged homes. If you have donations, any sort of questions' or need a clarification of anything, you're more than welcome to forward an email or a direct message. Your generosity will be much appreciated by those who are yet to receive your gifts. So,please help change a life. UnitedWeStand,DividedWeFall
