Community Rise UthandoToday was a proud day at Kasi Hero Foundation! 🎓💜

We witnessed our amazing grannies graduate and receive their certificates after completing the 4-month Detergent Making & Sewing Training Programme provided by Community Rise Uthando and Thandiwe Maseko Kubheka
From learning new skills to building confidence and creating opportunities for themselves, these queens showed up, worked hard, and proved that growth has no age limit. 👵🏾✨

This is what community empowerment looks like - skills, dignity, and a little bit of celebration along the way! 🥳

Thank you to Help Centre for walking this journey with us and pouring into our grannies. The future is bright, and these skills are already opening doors.

Our pensioners stepped onto the pitch for their FIRST EVER Pensioners Football League game at Nike Centre in Soweto today! ⚽🔥

Did we win? Nah 😂 We got a 7-0 lesson in football... but did we have fun? ABSOLUTELY! 🙆🏻‍♂️💃🏾

Age is just a number when you’ve got this much energy, laughter, and team spirit on the field. These legends showed up, played hard, and proved it’s never too late to chase the ball and make memories.

Next game? Watch out… we’re just warming up! 😎💪🏾

Today our hearts are full thanks to the incredible generosity of CE Mobility who donated brand new walkers to Kasi Hero Foundation!

These walkers will be life-changing for elderly members of our Pimville community who need extra support to move around safely and with dignity. Because of CE Mobility, our gogos and mkhulus can stay mobile, independent, and connected.

Some Fridays just hit different.

Yesterday we watched our Kasi Hero Foundation kids open their brand new school uniforms and stationery packs. The gasps, the smiles, the “look, it fits!” moments... that’s the stuff that fuels us.

Notebooks still smelling fresh. Pens ready for big dreams. Because every child deserves to walk into school feeling confident, ready, and seen.

Huge love to everyone who made this possible. You didn’t just give uniforms and stationery - you gave dignity, hope, and a whole lot of Friday joy.

To our Kasi Heroes: go show those classrooms what you’re made of 👊📚

POV: When corporate offices turn into Santa’s workshop ✂️📦✨

It started at Cell C offices, rolled through to Old Mutual insure, and picked up more hands from Credit Guarantee Insurance along the way.

No suits were harmed in the making of this video - but plenty of uniforms were packed, tons of giggles were shared, and the sweetest notes were written for 5 schools in Mpumalanga 💌

Because “back to school” should feel exciting, not stressful. To every staff member who packed, wrote, and cheered: you’re the real MVPs. To the kids opening these parcels: we’re rooting for you, always.
