This Women's Month, I'm thinking about what it actually means to create opportunity for someone else.

I lost my sight, and I gained my vision. Out of that came VATA — and today, that's 673 people across 27 communities in 3 provinces who've walked through a door I helped open.

I don't want to be accommodated. I want to be included. That's not just my story it's the pathway I'm trying to build for every woman, every person, who's been told the door isn't open to them.

Proud to now be part of FirstRand Foundations Women's Month campaign, celebrating alongside seven other incredible women building change across South Africa.

Happy Women's Month, from one woman building something that outlasts her.
