Its a bit long but please read 🙏

Good morning Koti’s i would like to share a little bit of my story with you, I am a mom to 2 boys. In 2002 i gave birth to a handsome baby boy i call my best friend, His name is Gomolemo i had loved and still do, nurtured him to be a fine young man, 10 years later God decided that he needed to add more blessings and more happiness to my life and so he blessed me with another baby boy my other best friend, my travel buddy my Otsi-pie. I named him Kgosiotsile. He and i were inseparable, and he used to say “ke purse 👛 ya mama nna”. Otsile was a handsome, super intelligent, loving, affectionate and thoughtful baby boy who knew how to make mommy feel better when i was feeling blue and i thought my life was complete. I was so happy until my nightmares began, on the 5 of August 2018 my life was turned upside down, Hell opened its doors for me, I remember the Doctor telling me that your Son has brain 🧠 tumour called DIPG, It’s a cancer located in the brainstem where all the functions of the body are, It’s inoperable and it is incurable. My heart sank, I was heart broken and i thought i was going crazy. The doctor said he had only 9 months to live. I thought i was gonna die, I asked myself how am i going to do this, How am I going watch my Son slowly fight for his life and loose. I asked God for strength, On the same day i resigned from my job. I remember my boss asking me why i was quitting and why I couldn’t just hire a nanny instead, my answer was that a nanny can never love my son the way i do and i needed to make his last days memorable. From that point on i took a decision to not think of my Son dying, I loved him the way i did before, I played with him, I sang with him he used to love singing. I never, Not once made him feel like he was sick. When Otsile became bed ridden it was a tough journey. We spent most of our days in and out of hospital. That period was the most painful 5 months of our lives, the last 2 weeks of his life Otsile stopped talking, i prayed, I praised, i sang, i cried and when he was resting I would lock myself in the bathroom and cried my heart out, I asked but God for a miracle but God had other plans, on the 31 of January my Son Spoke and asked to go home to see his big brother Gomolemo, he looked much better so they did not see the reason not to grant him his wish, we went home he saw his brother, he was happy, laughing but something was unsettling me, my heart was not Ok and i did not understand why, little did I know that my Son will be gone in a matter of hours on the 1 February we were back at the hospital and a few hour latter my baby boy drew his last breath in my arm nd i have never been the same since.

A few months later I started The Otsile Dipg childhood cancer foundation, to help the parents and the children where i can, i adopted one of the hospital in Gauteng and a few times a year i take them pyjamas, sleepers, toys, toiletries, books, buy them lunch and spend a day with them, but this Christmas i want to do more, the Otsile foundation wants to help pay for their medical bills just to easy the load on the parents because i know having a child battle cancer can be costly.

Please help me make this posible for them, it doesn’t matter how much you donate, it could be R20, R30 R100 we will appreciate a little goes a long way.
