On Mandela Day, we were reminded that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. ❤️

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Helderberg Kids community, we collected enough ingredients to prepare more than 60 litres of nourishing soup for families in need.

A special thank you to our amazing supporters at Live Life Path, who once again went above and beyond by sponsoring an additional 15 litres of hearty soup and 34 loaves of bread. Your continued support means so much to us.

We are also deeply grateful to all our volunteers who gave their time and energy to make this initiative possible – including the wonderful young scholars who rolled up their sleeves and joined in to help. You are an inspiration!

A heartfelt thank you to Kingdom Kids School in Sir Lowry's Pass for partnering with us in distributing the soup and sharing it with families in the community. Seeing everyone come together with such compassion and generosity fills our hearts with gratitude.

Together, we are making a difference, one bowl of soup, one loaf of bread, and one act of kindness at a time.

🧡 Mandela Day 2026 – Join Stone Soup in Making a Difference! 🥣🍞

This Mandela Day, Stone Soup invites our community to join hands with us as we prepare and distribute warm, nourishing soup to families in need.

Every small contribution can make a big difference. We are looking for donations of soup ingredients, including:

🥕 Carrots
🥔 Potatoes
🧅 Onions
🌽 Butternut or pumpkin
🫘 Soup mixes (lentils, split peas, beans, etc.)
🥫 Stock cubes
🍝 Soup pasta
🌿 Herbs and spices
🍞 Bread

If you're unable to donate ingredients, monetary contributions are also greatly appreciated and will go directly towards purchasing supplies for Mandela Day.

Together, we can honour Nelson Mandela's legacy by sharing kindness, hope and a warm meal with those who need it most. ❤️

🍲💛 Youth Day 2026 – Thank You from Stone Soup 💛🍲

For our Youth Day outreach, Stone Soup, with the incredible support of our super supporter Life Path Health, was able to prepare and distribute 66 litres of soup and 30 loaves of bread to members of our community.

This would not have been possible without the generosity and kindness of our supporters. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, helped us make a difference and put a warm meal into the hands of those who needed it most.

A very special thank you to Life Path Health for once again walking this journey with us and helping us spread warmth, hope and kindness in our community. 💚

🇿🇦 YOUTH DAY SOUP DRIVE – HELP US FILL MORE BOWLS! 🇿🇦🍲

This Youth Day, Stone Soup is once again rolling up our sleeves and lighting the pots to make a difference in our community.

Our goal is to provide:
🥣 A warm bowl of soup for 100 scholars at Kingdom Kids School
🥣 50 families in Sir Lowry's Pass with 1 litre of soup and half a loaf of bread

To make this happen, we need your help!

This Easter weekend was all about community, kindness, and making a difference 💛

Together with Stone Soup and Life Path Health, we were able to support 57 families with warm, nourishing soup. What made it even more special? The kids got involved too — helping prepare and deliver with so much heart and enthusiasm 🥣✨

A big thank you to Kingdom Kids for assisting with distribution to families in Sir Lowry’s Pass Village. Your energy and generosity truly made an impact where it was needed most 🙌

Giving really is powerful. Every small act adds up, and little by little, we’re helping build a brighter future for our community 🌱

💛 Sharing is Caring 💛

We are so grateful that we were able to assist a family in Sir Lowry's Pass Village who desperately needed food support. The family includes 6 children, and they are currently going through an extremely difficult time.

Thanks to the kindness and generosity within our community, we were able to provide temporary relief using supplies from the Stone Soup pantry, as well as contributions from our personal pantries and freezers.

Moments like these remind us that when we share what we have, we can make a real difference in someone’s life. Every small act of kindness helps bring hope during challenging times.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Stone Soup and help us care for our community. Together, we can make sure no family feels alone in their struggle. 💛

❤️ Spreading the Love Early This Valentine’s Day! ❤️

This Valentine’s Day, Stone Soup was able to spread the love a little early — and in the best way possible! We handed out 354 hotdogs, filling hungry tummies and bringing big smiles all around.

Not only were we able to treat all the school children, but the love reached even further into our community, supporting children in need. Because love isn’t just something we say — it’s something we do. It’s about taking action, getting involved, and making a real difference.

💖 This Valentine’s Day, let’s share the love – one hotdog at a time! 🌭💖

At Stone Soup, we believe Valentine’s Day isn’t just about romance – it’s about showing love where it matters most. 🫶

This year, we’d love to spoil the little ones and teachers at Kingdom Kids with a special hotdog treat. Our goal is to make 200 hotdogs so we can bless:
✨ 100 children at the school
✨ Their amazing teachers
✨ And extend the love to the surrounding community – teaching our kids the beauty of sharing

To make this happen, we’re asking for help with donations of:
