Today we learnt .
We carried teddies on stretchers for fun.
We learnt how to call for help (Run, Yell, Tell, Come).
We had fun with gloves and alien blood 👽
We learnt about washing hands and read a first aid book.

Today we learnt about money!
We got to hold it and see what makes it special.
We also had our own mini market where we had to make money decisions. Given R10 at the tuckshop chips are R5 and biscuits are R3, what do you want. How do you spend your money? 2 chips, chips and 1 biscuit or 3 biscuits?
We then made a money box by decorating an old margarine tub.

Meerkats to the rescue

Today we learnt that even though we're small we can still help!
As part of the we learnt the emergency numbers on a very big phone. We learnt the recovery position (we even put Lynx aka Louise Griffiths Forbes in the recovery position).
Lastly, we learnt how to sew on a button because we can help there too.

Today we had fun with a things monsters.
We sewed a monster for our sewing badge (thanks to our amazing SGL for making them for us)
Made a little clay monster.
Learnt the difference between a surprise/secret/privacy. Suprises are for good things like presents and don't last forever and make people feel good. Secrets make us feel bad, like monsters, and we don't keep secrets.
