🤍 Facts & Fiction of Losing a Baby Who Lived 🤍

Swipe to see what people often say after baby loss... and what many grieving parents actually experience. 🌈

The truth is, there are no rules when it comes to grief. No timeline. No perfect way to cope. No magic words that make it better.

Every parent's journey is different. Some talk about their baby every day. Some struggle to say their name. Some keep the nursery exactly the same. Others need to pack it away immediately.

There is no "right way" to grieve.

If you've experienced the loss of a baby who lived, we see you. Your grief is valid, your love is endless, and your baby will never be forgotten 🤍

Your first period after pregnancy loss is something no one really prepares you for 🤍

It’s not “just a period.”
For so many women, it feels like another wave of grief. A painful reminder that your pregnancy is over. That your body is moving forward when your heart is still trying to catch up. 🌈

In this blog, we gently speak about the emotional and physical reality of your first period after loss, including:
✨ Why it can feel so overwhelming
✨ What is physically normal
✨ How long recovery can take
✨ When you can safely use tampons again
✨ Gentle ways to care for yourself during this time

This is a part of grief so many women silently experience but rarely speak about.

If this is something you are navigating right now, please know you are not alone 🤍

Some days after losing your baby feel impossible 🤍

Grief is not linear. One day you may feel okay, and the next, something small - a date, a song, a memory, a pregnancy announcement, an empty room - can completely unravel you again. 🌈

This blog gently speaks about the “hard days” after loss. The days where the grief feels heavy, exhausting, isolating, and impossible to explain to people around you.

We speak about:
🤍 Why grief comes in waves
🤍 The emotional triggers parents experience after loss
🤍 Why healing isn’t linear
🤍 How to survive overwhelming days
🤍 Giving yourself permission to rest and feel

Because hard days do not mean you are failing in your healing.
They simply mean your baby was deeply loved 🤍

If you are walking through grief right now, please know you are not alone.

🤍 28 May - The Day You Became an Angel 🤍

Today I light a candle for my beautiful boy, Benjamin. 🌈

Not a single day goes by that you are not thought about, missed, loved, and remembered.

These are the days that hurt the most. The milestone days. The reminder days. The days where grief feels especially heavy.

Being so raw and open on this page has taken so much courage. But at the same time, I am so grateful to have a place where Benjamin’s memory can live on. A place where people know about him, speak his name, and know that he existed.

Because he did exist.
He was here.
He was deeply loved, and still is. 🤍

Miss you every single day, my boy.

🤍 Saying their name matters 🤍

For grieving parents, hearing their baby’s name can mean everything.

It tells them their baby is remembered.
That their baby existed.
That their baby mattered. 🌈

So many parents fear that over time people will stop mentioning their child because they are uncomfortable with grief or scared of causing pain. But most grieving parents are already thinking about their baby every single day.

You are not “reminding” them of their loss.
You are reminding them that their baby is loved and not forgotten.

Say their name.
Speak about them.
Remember important dates.

Because even the smallest acknowledgment can bring comfort to a grieving heart 🤍
