Good Morning Friends

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
¹¹ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Genesis 1:26 tells us that we are made in God's Image and Likeness. Meaning a human being is divine in nature, especially when you are born again, you activate that being in you.

It is however very strange that when it comes to God Almighty, the Creator of everything - we tend to doubt His promises. Everyday we allow stress to mess up our health. We entertain thoughts of depression, lack , pain, fear, poverty, etc. Yet we know very well about Jeremiah 29:11. Each time we are stressing and feeling depressed, we directly tell God Almighty that we don't trust in Him or His promises. When we are overwhelmed by negative thoughts, we paralyze the power of God that we confessed on the day we became Born Again. (John 3:3, Romans 10:9-11). Mark V10. Salvation only comes through confession.

From today onwards, I urge you to study the Word, the Holy Bible. Get to know who this Great God is. And take Him at His Word. Pray The Word of God, not your thoughts.

Since it's impossible for Him to lie, He will honour every promise He makes in your life through His Word in The Bible. You might have been praying for healing, and it's been years. Or if you are experiencing lack in anyway, talk to Him. Remind Him about His promises found in The Word. Whatever the need is, let us trust in Him wholeheartedly. Philippians 4:4-6

Stay faithful. Keep serving only Jesus. Pray to Him alone. Whatever the season, He knows the plans He has for your life. And those are beautiful plans and a great future. And He will never let you down ever.

Good morning

Psalm 105:17-18 NLT

¹⁷ Then He sent someone to Egypt ahead of them - Joseph, who was sold as a slave. ¹⁸ They bruised his feet with fetters and placed his neck in an iron collar.

We all know the story of Joseph, son of Jacob and his eleven brothers. Joseph had two dreams, which he ended up sharing with his family. His brothers were annoyed hearing about them including his father, bowing before Joseph.

What followed next, Joseph is sold to men travelling to Egypt. And his brothers came up with a story to tell his father as to what happened to Joseph. I can't even imagine how painful it must have been for Jacob, thinking that his son was mauled by a vicious beast, and that he had died.

Joseph, ended up in a prison, with chains in his hands and an iron collar around his neck. He had done nothing wrong. Reading from today's devotional we find that all his suffering was actually orchestrated by God Almighty Himself. He sees the future and knows exactly what He wants. Long story short, in verses 19,20 of the same chapter, we read that after the Lord tested Joseph's character, Pharaoh released him to lead Egypt.

You and I are called to persevere and be faithful throughout our prolonged winter. Close to 13 years or so, Joseph went through difficulties. He kept his composure, trusting in the Lord throughout his winter season. Would you have been found worthy of a promotion had you been in the same situation as Joseph?

Does God seem to be slow in answering? It's actually our preparation time before what we ask for manifests.

Trust the process, soon what seems impossible will come to an abrupt end as The Lord intervenes. The Lord Jesus Christ is forever faithful. God bless you all and have a fruitful day.
