Today, as the world celebrates World Sight Day, everyone is being asked to .

At EyeCare4Kids Africa, we want to take that one step further.

A pair of glasses can be about so much more than seeing clearly.

It can mean seeing what the teacher writes on the board.
Reading the words on a page.
Following a lesson.

Through a recent collaboration between the Black CoffeeFoundation and Tanya Noach as responsible optometrist and EyeCare4Kids Africa at Zenzeleni Primary School, children received free vision services, with those requiring further assessment referred for optometric testing at the EyeCare4Kids Africa Eye and Vision Centre at the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital.

The children ultimately received free prescription spectacles.

We are proud to work alongside organisations such as the to help remove vision as a barrier to a child's education.

Following a vision outreach at Zenzeleni Primary School in partnership with the Black CoffeeFoundation, and Tanya Noach as responsible optometrist, children requiring glasses received free prescription spectacles.

EyeCare4Kids Africa was proud to partner with the and Tanya Noach as responsible optometrist, to provide free vision services to children at Zenzeleni Primary School.

Children requiring further assessment were referred to the EyeCare4Kids Africa Eye and Vision Centre at Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital for further optometric testing.

The result?

Children who needed glasses received free prescription spectacles.

For a child struggling to see clearly, a pair of glasses can make a meaningful difference to how they read, learn and participate in the classroom.
