Spring is here and so is a new season of growth!

This Spring, we’re celebrating the people who keep planting, learning and growing. We’re looking forward to visiting our farmers in Cosmo City, the CWP farmers at Realeboga Pre-School in Zandspruit and continuing to build skills through practical training with our ECD teachers on 11 September.

On Monday, 10 August, Impophomo was honoured to join Liv Lanseria in celebrating Women’s Day.

Invitations were extended to 300 women from surrounding communities, and the turnout was awesome. The ladies arrived dressed for the occasion, and brought a wonderful energy and joy to the event.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Liv Lanseria for a beautifully organised event, and to the speaker whose message ministered so meaningfully into the lives of those present.

As part of the day, Impophomo had the opportunity to demonstrate practical planting methods aimed at empowering women to strengthen household food security and become more self-sustainable – yay to spinach!

We also shared a message from Matthew 13, the Parable of the Sower, practically connecting the act of planting seeds in the ground with sowing seeds of hope, purpose and possibility in our lives.

Thank you to every woman present, and every person who made this day possible and so special.

Together, we grow.

On July 4th 2026, we came together in the Community of Zandspruit, Honeydew for Impophomo's Annual Sports Tournament, and wow, what a success it was!

The energy was electric, the talent was inspiring, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the sense of unity was unforgettable. This event demonstrates clearly what happens when we invest in our youth and stand together as a community.

A massive thank you to our partners and everyone who supported, showed up, played, cheered, and made it all happen.

Impophomo Christmas Outreach Celebration

What an incredible day of joy, hope, and community!

• A total of 675 bags were distributed, each one a heartfelt gift of care and support.

• The Gospel was shared from Matthew 1:18 and Matthew 2:1–11, reminding us of the miraculous birth of Jesus and the journey of the wise men.

• ECD Teachers proudly received their certificates of attendance from our ECD programme, celebrating their dedication and commitment to early childhood development.

• Children were blessed with gift bags filled with stationery, toiletries, and treats, bringing smiles and excitement to their faces.

The atmosphere was filled with laughter, gratitude, and the true meaning of Christmas: giving, sharing, and celebrating the birth of our Savior.
