A NEW ERA FOR WEST RAND PAGEANTRY: JANINE EMSLIE ANNOUNCES TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP TO JANI COMBRINK AS SHE EMBRACES A NEW SEASON OF FAMILY LIFE.
WEST RAND, GAUTENG – After eight highly successful years of building confidence, celebrating community, and transforming lives, Janine Emslie (formerly van Loggerenberg), Founder and CEO of Infinity Group, has officially announced the sale of the prestigious Miss/Mr/Mrs Randfontein, Krugersdorp, and West Rand pageants to prominent local businesswoman Jani Combrink.
This major announcement comes at a beautiful personal milestone for Janine, who recently married her husband, Dylan Emslie. As she steps into this joyful new season of marriage and family life, Janine has made the heartfelt decision to trade the crowns, formal dress-ups, and high heels of the pageant stage for more dedicated quality time with her husband and four children.
Founded from a simple vision in December 2017, the pageants grew exponentially under Janine’s leadership, establishing themselves as a premier platform for personal growth and community uplifting across the West Rand. While the ownership and direction of the pageants officially transfers to Jani Combrink, the overarching Infinity brand remains under Janine’s guidance. She will continue to host the highly anticipated annual Infinity Golf Day and Women’s Day events, and empower aspiring titleholders through The Pageant Bible short courses.

"The pageants have been my heart and purpose for eight years, but as a newlywed and a mother, I am so ready to pour that energy into my beautiful family. I know the pageants are stepping into incredible hands. Jani brings a wealth of corporate experience and a profound passion for youth development. I will now be cheering loudly from the audience!"
Jani Combrink, a proud West Rand resident for 25 years, steps into the role of Pageant Director alongside her daughters, Elianè and Michaela. Having witnessed the transformative power of pageantry firsthand through her daughters, Jani is fully committed to upholding the rich legacy of community service and empowerment that the region has come to love.
New entries for the upcoming pageant season are officially open. Aspiring contestants from across Randfontein, Krugersdorp, and the West Rand are warmly encouraged to enter and become part of this historic community legacy.
To my dear West Rand community, titleholders, finalists, sponsors, and friends, It feels like only yesterday that I was sitting next to the fishing waters in December 2017. In a moment of pure inspiration, and a massive leap of faith, I opened a simple Google Form to start Miss/Mr/Mrs Randfontein. By April 2018, 108 finalists graced our first stage. In 2019, we expanded to Krugersdorp, and eventually grew to encompass the entire West Rand. Through economic hardships, personal struggles, and a global pandemic, we stood firm.
The Birth of Infinity
In 2019, while sitting at an airport, I drew an infinity sign. In that moment, the holding company for these pageants was born: Infinity Group. Alongside this vision, I joined hands with my father under the trademark Oneos 127. Oneos comes from the Greek word Aionios, meaning eternity or infinity, "forever."
Romans 8 (the number 8 being the infinity sign) reminds us that nothing can separate us from God’s love.
Psalm 127 has been our foundation: "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain."
With Him as our foundation, this pageant became much more than a beauty contest; it was my heart, my purpose, and my safe space.
To Those Who Walked This Path With Me As I step into a magnificent new season that God has blessed me with, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. I have recently married my wonderful husband, Dylan Emslie, and as I embrace this new chapter as a wife and a mother, my priorities have beautifully shifted. I am choosing to trade the crowns, the glamorous dress-ups, and the high heels for precious, uninterrupted time with my family.
To my supporters and mentors: Thank you for believing in the vision when it was just a dream.
To the challenges and lessons: Thank you; you taught me things only a challenge could.
To my Board (Riaan, Dalien, and my father, Jan): We were a "mean team." What we created together was magical.
To my Husband, Dylan, and my four beautiful children: Thank you for celebrating every crowning, for dressing up, and for always being there. I am so incredibly excited for this quiet, beautiful season waiting for us as a family.
To the Title Holders, Shewwee, what a journey it has been! I am absolutely blown away by each of you. Never give up, and always remember: Your past does not define you. Your age does not determine your success. Motherhood is amazing, but it does not define the limits of who we are.

A New Chapter & A Passing of the Torch... It is my absolute pleasure to officially hand over the reins of the Miss/Mr/Mrs Randfontein, Krugersdorp, and West Rand Pageantsto the new owner and director, Jani Combrink, and her two beautiful daughters, Elianè and Michaela.
Please note that Infinity will still go on. I am not going away completely! I will continue to act as Director of Infinity Group, where I will still host our annual Golf Day and Women's Day events, alongside coaching through The Pageant Bible short courses. However, the full hosting and control of the West Rand pageants will now live with Jani.
