🌿 THIS WEEK IN BCA OPERATIONS SHENANIGANS…🧹
While Jeffrey has been keeping the Blairgowrie Public Pool looking shipshape - cutting grass, tending the gardens, cleaning the toilets and sweeping up the resident geese’s p**p off the pathways - he’s also been out brushcutting along the park fence on Conrad Drive.
And we hate to say it…but the grass is waking up from its winter hibernation. 🌱
We are officially entering that time of year where our few trusty brushcutters in the BCA toolbox are simply not going to keep up with Blairgowrie’s enthusiasm for growing things. 🫣
If there’s a park whose grass you’d like to see tackled with the Delta School mower, let us know - show us the money 💰 and we’ll happily arrange it.
Alternatively, if a business wants to see their brand driving around our parks in the form of a donated mower, we certainly wouldn’t say no! 😁
Meanwhile, Percy has been keeping up his weekly litter clean-ups across four areas:
🌹 Rose Garden�🌳 Denise Park
🌳 Stadio Park
📮 The Post Office
He’s also started brushcutting around the play area in Denise Park and around the substations, while a bit more Jan Smuts skoffeling has continued, along with the Bram Fischer/Conrad island. The grass strip outside Rose Garden also got a much-needed clean and cut. 🌿
