🎓 It started with a TV appearance. It became something extraordinary.
In 1994, James Urdang appeared on Good Morning South Africa. Thomas Zilk — son of Vienna's Mayor — saw it and reached out. Walter Sisulu pointed to Orange Farm. Helen Suzman stood at the groundbreaking. And on 2 September 1996, Masibambane College opened its doors.
Today, it serves over 1,200 learners in one of Gauteng's most underserved communities. And this year, it turns 30. 🇦🇹🇿🇦
The Austrian Business Chamber is proud to invite our members to celebrate this milestone at the 30th Anniversary Founders Day — a tribute to three decades of Austrian investment, partnership, and genuine care for South Africa.
