The YPC extends sincere thanks to Pan African Resources PLC for hosting an insightful visit to the Mogale Tailings Retreatment (MTR) operation on 30 May 2026.

The experience provided young professionals with valuable exposure to tailings re-mining operations, including processing, deposition activities, and the rehabilitation of historical tailings storage facilities.

We are excited to be at the Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering University of Pretoria today for the SAIMM Student Membership Activation Day as part of the Mine Managers’ and Miners’ Day celebrations.
