Day 2 at the YPC Conference 2026 brings another round of thought-provoking conversations and fresh industry perspectives!

After an energetic and insightful Day 1 yesterday, the momentum continues as delegates returns for another day of learning, connection and knowledge-sharing.

The morning featured two engaging presentations that explored very different, but equally important, aspects of the industry.

Vanishree Naamdhew unpacked the evolving skills needs surrounding surveyor assistants at surface coal mines in Mpumalanga, highlighting an important conversation around skills and the future of work.

Aino Saikkonen then turned the focus to technology and innovation with their presentation on simulation-based optimisation of flotation circuit performance.

From skills development to technological innovation, Day 2 continues to spark conversations that matter to the future of the industry.
