Similarly, the nationally and internationally celebrated MIAGI Orchestra with its numerous creative hubs in form of smaller formations and ensembles, unites young talents through excellence, creative cooperation and innovation across ethnic and social borders, embodying the ideals of Nelson Mandela. MIAGI is currently fundraising for a second MIAGI founded educational and cultural centre in a historically deprived settlement, 'MIAGI Cultural Investment Centre Khayelitsha'. In 2019, MIAGI established the MIAGI supporting Non-Profit-Association Music is a great Investment Sweden.

MIAGI's dear Friend Duncan Ward visited us on the day of our dress rehearsal at the Alte Oper Frankfurt! Duncan rehearses at the Oper Frankfurt ahead of the premiere of Fortner's opera Blood Wedding, to text by Lorca. We are proud to say, that Duncan, who is recognized as one of the most exciting conductors today, has also played a central role at MIAGI. He has conducted our orchestra, composed for it and toured with us extensively since 2013. The best pizza and pasta place in Frankfurt, opened their doors especially for us and served us the yummiest pasta portions on a Sunday! What loving, lovable, great people!
