Sudden Light was built upon experience, in seeing families in Lenasia South and surrounding areas,struggle to survive. The need for food, clothing and the bare necessities has been seen, and Sudden Light has undertaken to assist as many families as possible. The plight of the aged and disabled has also been recognized and meals are prepared and delivered to this sector of need.We also hold a visio

n to create a platform for young people to actively engage themselves in social issues in Lenasia South and for the surrounding areas. A rapid assessment was done, and discovered a serious lack of structured interventions for young people in the area.A community center was launched and the following Activities are envisioned:
• Volunteers to assist with homework after school
• On-site counselling with any issue presented
• Drug Awareness and Prevention Programs
• Teenage pregnancy assistance and counselling
• A healthy meal served after school
