Here, Louanda Gouws is not just a housemother—she’s a mother to 9 teenage boys aged 14 to 17. She cooks in their kitchen. They eat together at the table. They sit on the couch like any family. They have a garden, a braai area, and bedrooms that feel like home—not an institution.

This is not an orphanage.
It’s a place of belonging. Of healing. Of hope.

But right now, this home—and 21 others like it—are on the edge. Without urgent support, their future is at risk.
