Our next group of speakers for Adventurous Reflections 2026 brings together a powerful mix of experience, practical knowledge, field expertise, and fresh perspectives from across the adventure tourism and outdoor education space.

From technical skills and guiding practice to inclusive hiking, interpretation, overlanding, safety, business development, and industry growth — these sessions are designed to help us learn, connect, reflect, and grow together.

Ons verwelkom met groot opgewondenheid ons nuwe avontuurgids-internskap studente by die oord! 🎉

Mag hierdie jaar vir julle vol leer, groei en onvergeetlike ervarings wees. Ons sien uit daarna om saam met julle te werk en julle deel van die span te maak! 🌿
Vandag is hulle eerste dag, hou die blad dop om te volg waarmee hulle besig is die jaar en hoe hulle hier wegstap as gekwalifiseerde gidse.

Hulle is besig met opleiding in abseil, spanbou, foefie-gly en lae toubaan — waar hulle waardevolle vaardighede en praktiese ondervinding opdoen! 💪✨

Ons interns kry ook blootstelling om van ons kultuurtoere by te woon, met besoeke aan Bloedrivier, Talana Museum, Howick Falls en die Nelson Mandela Capture Site. 🚌

Meet our first Speaker Spotlight line-up for Adventurous Reflections 2026! 🧡

This year’s programme brings together voices from across adventure tourism, outdoor education, facilitation, guiding, training, business, safety and industry development.

Swipe through to meet some of the speakers joining us in the Northern Drakensberg — each bringing practical insight, real-world experience and fresh conversations to the conference.

Baie geluk aan drie van ons interns asook twee van ons gidse! Hulle registrasies is ontvang van die Departement van Toerisme. Hulle is nou geregistreerde Toergidse met verskeie spesialiteite.

Die eerste foto is van die interns op hulle eerste dag in Mei hier by ons, die tweede foto is hulle volwaardige Toergidse. Ons is trots op julle harde werk en deursettingsvermoë.
