I RESPECT FILIPINOS π΅π
I usually travel in and out of different countries, and most of the time, I barely get the opportunity to fully experience what it is like to actually live there.
But spending one year and a couple of months here in the Philippines has given me a completely different perspective.
I have developed a deep respect and love for the people who live in this country.
Living in the Philippines is not easy at all. Compared to South Africa, the USA, Botswana, and other countries I have experienced, there are challenges here that you truly understand only when you live through them.
You experience drastic changes in climate.
You can be sleeping peacefully and suddenly your house starts shaking β no alarm is needed; the earthquake becomes the alarm. π
And after surviving that, you look up and realizeβ¦ the typhoon is next. π§οΈπͺοΈ
Yet through all of this, I have seen Filipinos continue to live, work, love, worship, smile, and carry on.
I have developed a strong respect and genuine love for the people of this nation. β€οΈπ΅π
My prayer is that Godβs grace, protection, mercy, and strength will continue to rest upon the Philippines and its people.
MAY GOD BLESS THE PHILIPPINES. π΅π
PRAY FOR THE PHILIPPINES. ππ΅π
