I RESPECT FILIPINOS 🇵🇭

I usually travel in and out of different countries, and most of the time, I barely get the opportunity to fully experience what it is like to actually live there.

But spending one year and a couple of months here in the Philippines has given me a completely different perspective.

I have developed a deep respect and love for the people who live in this country.

Living in the Philippines is not easy at all. Compared to South Africa, the USA, Botswana, and other countries I have experienced, there are challenges here that you truly understand only when you live through them.

You experience drastic changes in climate.
You can be sleeping peacefully and suddenly your house starts shaking — no alarm is needed; the earthquake becomes the alarm. 😭

And after surviving that, you look up and realize… the typhoon is next. 🌧️🌪️

Yet through all of this, I have seen Filipinos continue to live, work, love, worship, smile, and carry on.

I have developed a strong respect and genuine love for the people of this nation. ❤️🇵🇭

My prayer is that God’s grace, protection, mercy, and strength will continue to rest upon the Philippines and its people.

MAY GOD BLESS THE PHILIPPINES. 🇵🇭

In the Kingdom of God, it may not matter who hates you, but it certainly matters who favors you. Even Jesus, though fully approved by the Father, was also favored among people. The Bible says:

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” — Luke 2:52

I would like to appreciate my brother in the Lord the amazing Rev. Gio Husmillo for the warm welcome. It was an honour to meet you and spend a moment in conversation.

There is dimension of God’s grace that opens doors through people. Never become too spiritual that you neglect the value of godly relationships. God’s favor on your life will often be recognised through the people he connects you with.

Look forward to what God is doing in the Philippines and all over the world. May His kingdom continue to advance through every ministry that faithfully lifts up Christ Jesus.
