David asked, “Is there anyone left from the family of Saul to whom I can show mercy?” And Ziba replied, “There is Jonathan’s son, lame in both feet.” The Bible says David did not waste a moment, he sent for him and brought him in.

This moment captures more than royal generosity; it reveals the heart of covenant love. David remembered a promise he made long ago to Jonathan, and even though years had passed, his loyalty had not faded. Mephibosheth, crippled and forgotten in Lo-debar—A barren place, was suddenly remembered, restored, and invited to the king’s table.

What David did for Jonathan’s son is a shadow of what God does for us. We, too, are broken and undeserving, yet He seeks us out, not because of our strength or worth, but because of His covenant of love.

In the end, mercy moves faster than judgment. Love remembers when the world forgets. And grace always finds those who cannot walk to the throne on their own.

All emotion stems from the soul realm, which is: your mind, emotions and your will. Though these emotions are also spirits: hate, disdain, envy, bitterness, jealousy, and pride manifest through the soul realm, through emotions. It is for this reason that Apostle Paul admonished believers to purify their souls, by obedience to the word of God for by so doing they would have genuine love for one another from a pure heart. “Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her to sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word” (Ephesians 5:25-26). When we allow the word of God to rebuke and convict us to repentance, our hearts will be purified. Apostle Paul finishes the verse by imploring us to “love one another deeply, from a pure heart.” Thus, after purifying our hearts, strive with all your might to love deeply. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 explains the Agape - “unconditional love” of God. This love is patient in all circumstances, kind in the face of injustice, it does not envy others, boast or show off. It is not proud, rude, neither is it selfseeking or selfish. A person who loves does not get easily angered or keep a record of others wrongs. A person who loves takes no pleasure in evil but rejoices in the truth. This love must bear all things, believe in all things, hope for all things, and finally endure all things. This kind of love indeed, never fails!

Faith is not an attribute that must be sought externally; rather, as indicated in the prophetic word of the day, it is inherently present within us. God has distributed to each one a measure of faith. That means you have faith in you but the faith in you must be worked on. Faith can be measured quantitatively and qualitatively. “He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you” ( Matthew 17:20 NIV). According to this scripture there is little faith as opposed to great faith found in Matthew 8:10. However, scripture continues that if you have faith as small as a mustard seed nothing will be impossible for you. “Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?” (James 2:5 NKJV). In this scripture one can be rich in faith. Note that faith if a spirit and the spirit can come to you and it can go away when there’s fear or doubt. This spirit of faith speaks, and one must work on making sure the spirit of faith is always on them.

The gates of Hades, also known as the gates of hell, are demonic entry points through which the devil finds access to pe*****te one’s life. These gates grant legal access to the devil. At the gates of Hades, the will of Satan triumphs over the will of God. When God calls you and ushers you into your gate of destiny, the enemy sets up the gate of Hades to block you from advancing and fulfilling your prophetic destiny. The gates of Hades represent suffering, pain, terror, and agony. When these gates are opened in your life, the outcome is destruction. As a believer, you must engage in warfare to ensure every gate of Hades is shut and every access to the enemy is denied. Once the gate of Hades is opened, a foothold is given to the enemy, who prowls around like a lion looking for whom to devour. To influence you to open these gates, the enemy may attack you with the spirit of seduction. This spirit will seduce you into unforgiveness, bitterness, grudges, sexual immorality, practicing occultism, fear, anxiety, addiction, or ungodly words. As a believer, refuse to give the enemy any foothold over your life. Shut every gate through prayer 18 and guard yourself from anything that may open the gates of Hades in your life.

In this month, we will aiteō (ask), zēteō (seek) and krouō (knock). We will gather our prophetic intelligence to understand what we want, where we are and where to look.

We will remember what we reap, for what we sow.
