Our hearts might never have been fuller than when visiting Sinenjongo High School! This year was Sinenjongo’s first year participating in SASCE and they finished in the top 5 schools! We loved hearing them sing and witnessing the pride they feel for their choir and school. We brought good wishes from Empangeni High School and dream of a day when we can work in one place with learners from these amazing South Africa schools. We cannot wait to visit you again!

We were not the only visitors to Empangeni High School last week. Velabahleke High School’s management team visited as well and stopped in at the music center where we were working. Inspiring to see the collaboration between schools and their dedication to the education of well-rounded young learners. When we come back we want to visit Velabahleki as well!

Oh heavens! We are so behind updating you on our travels through South Africa! University of KwaZulu Natal was our first stop in Kwa-Zulu Natal. What an amazing time we had sharing knowledge, learning new repertoire, and discovering new voices. This was our first visit to this school - but hopefully not our last one!
