Grace to Grace launched our Youth and Young Adults Healing Workshop with the Confirmation Candidates of St Joseph the Worker Parish. The program remained focussed on the healing steps our usual program follows but included some fun activities for our youth to fully emerge themselves in the journey.

Each participant had been on their confirmation journey for the past two years, but though they knew each other well, this weekend drew them closer to God, got them to discover their own identity in Christ and solidified their bonds turning friends into family.

The openness and honesty these individuals displayed were more than we initially anticipated. These young people gave their all to this program, pushed themselves beyond themselves and truly came out of their shells. The energy and laughter had the place bustling all weekend and the love displayed when tears were shed was heart warming.

We truly are grateful to each participant for trusting us with your hearts, I pray that each of you will use the tools you were given to be the very best versions of yourself always.

We pray for you every blessing for your upcoming confirmation and may that spirit of love and peace you left Schoenies with be yours always. Thanks to you, our mother and chef, Olivia for the delicious meals prepared with love; to the gracious GGHI members and donors who made this weekend possible. Thank you to Father Arinze Okeke C.O. for your love and dedication to the spiritual well-being of our youth and young adults. Thank you to the team for the love and effort you put in to making these weekends special, your dedication does not go unnoticed.

A special thanks to the Congregation of the Sisters of Nazareth House for your love and support to the Grace to Grace Healing Institute. May God bless you and keep you.

Grace to Grace Healing Workshop 30 Jan - 1 Feb 2026

Words cannot begin to describe the grace and mercy shown to us by God at every single Grace to Grace Healing Workshop. We kicked off our year with a very special group of people chosen by God for a time such as this. Each participant unique and special whose journeys collided creating friendship bonds which turned into family ties.

Friday evening a group of strangers gathered for the purpose of seeking their own personal healing from God. Journeying through the various steps of healing; through our amazing healing program run by our team of wounded healers obedient to God's call, will and love; these strangers shared intimate moments, cried and laughed together and supported one another through their fears, traumas and hurts. With love, the gift of presence and compassionate hearts; through the sharing, prayers and activities; a spirit of love and healing flowed from the heart of Jesus; the fountain of love and mercy itself and touched the hearts of each individual present, facilitators and participants alike.

We wish to thank each participant for the gift of presence and the love you have shown. We pray that this ministry will always be in their hearts of our team of facilitators. We give thanks most importantly to God the Most High, Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour and to the Holy Spirit without whom none of the would be possible. Our Lady of Grace, may your constant intercession be upon our ministry. Herewith a few captured memories.

It’s such a joy to stand before you, gathered in a spirit of hope, faith, and healing. I’m honored to speak on behalf of Grace to Grace Healing Institute, a place where broken hearts find peace, weary souls find rest, and lives are transformed through the power of grace.

We all walk through seasons of pain, seasons that test our strength, our faith, and our sense of purpose. Maybe it’s emotional wounds that never quite healed, a loss that left a silent ache, or the weight of past mistakes that feels too heavy to carry. But I’m here to remind you today: healing is possible. Wholeness is possible. Transformation is possible.

And that’s exactly what the Healing Workshop is about helping you step out of survival and into renewal, not by your own strength, but through the endless grace of God. The Grace to Grace Healing Workshop is not just another event. It’s a sacred space for reflection, release, and restoration. During the workshop, you’ll experience: Powerful sessions led by compassionate facilitators also known as wounded healers.

Each session is designed to guide you gently from old wounds into new beginnings, from pain to peace, from despair to joy, from grace to grace. I’ve seen people walk into this workshop feeling broken, unsure, and afraid, and walk out with light in their eyes again. I’ve seen forgiveness replace bitterness, and strength rise where weakness once lived. And I truly believe that same transformation is waiting for you. If there’s even a small voice in your heart saying, “Maybe this is for me,” listen to it! This could be the moment that changes everything.

Join us at the Grace to Grace Healing Workshop. Come with an open heart, and let God do the rest. Together, let’s move from grace to grace and discover the healing that was always meant for you.

My name is Whitney Whitebooi. I had the opportunity to attend the Grace to Grace Healing workshop and will briefly share my experience with you.

GGHI offers a safe space for you to lament and wonderful spirit filled facilitators who helps you on your healing journey. It is a safe space where you not only share your painful experiences but you also get to share your beautiful memories which sometimes also form part of our woundedness and healing process. I went there a broken, bruised version of myself and walked away with a new name- no longer broken but HEALED. My wound still remains but my pain becomes less everyday as I put my broken heart into HIS, the one who is close to the broken-hearted.

The program doesn't necessarily assure you that all your pain will dissappear instantly but it assures you that over time your pain will become lighter, less and bearable. Therefore I am inviting everyone; young; old; men and women to come and see. Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Daar is n liedjie- 'Kom na Jesus toe sodat die Here jou heel kan maak'. This is not my invitation but an invitation from the Lord. Cast you cares unto him, and allow him to heal you through the Grace to Grace Healing Institute and the Team. God bless.

My name is Karin, and I had the privilege of being part of the Grace to Grace Ministry. It was truly a fruitful and blessed experience. One of the greatest lessons I learned during the weekend was the importance of trust. Often, we hesitate to share our struggles because we believe others may not understand. Yet, through our time together, I realised that when we open our hearts, we not only learn to trust one another, but we also recognise that we are not alone in our challenges. Sometimes the burdens we think are overwhelming become lighter when we hear the experiences of others.

Galatians 5:22–23 teaches us about the Fruit of the Spirit:
Love – showing unconditional love to one another.
Joy – a deep, constant joy that comes from faith, not circumstances.
Peace – a sense of calm and tranquillity even in the midst of turmoil.
Patience – the strength to endure without giving up.
Kindness – acting with compassion and gentleness towards others.
Goodness – living a life that is upright and righteous.
Faithfulness – being loyal, dependable, and trustworthy.
Gentleness – approaching others with humility and meekness.
Self-control – having discipline over our actions and emotions. These virtues remind us of who we are called to be in Christ and how we should treat one another. Thank you, and may God bless you all.
