MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT – EAST LONDON

A leading manufacturing company in East London is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join the Maintenance Department on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

📌 Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric / Senior Certificate
N2 Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Ability to assist with electrical and mechanical maintenance
Good understanding of workplace health and safety
🛠️ Key Duties
Assist with electrical and mechanical repairs and breakdowns
Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Assist with servicing and maintaining production machinery
Conduct routine equipment inspections
Assist with mould changes and tooling set-ups
Assist with mould, tooling and equipment repairs
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout
Maintain a clean and safe work area

📍 Location: East London
📅 Contract: 6 Months Fixed-Term

VACANCY: STOCK CONTROLLERS

Position: Stock Controller
📍 Location: Coega, Gqeberha

We are looking for experienced and organised Stock Controllers to join a warehouse operation in Coega.

Minimum Requirements

✅ Matric / equivalent
✅ 3–5 years’ experience in warehouse inventory or stock control
✅ Experience with SAP, ERP or Warehouse Management Systems
✅ Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting
✅ Valid Driver’s Licence
✅ Forklift licence will be an advantage
✅ Tertiary qualification in a relevant field will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and accurately book incoming stock
• Allocate correct stock numbers and maintain accurate inventory records
• Conduct stock reconciliations and cycle counts
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
• Plan warehouse capacity and storage requirements
• Coordinate receiving and put-away activities
• Maintain accurate ERP/Warehouse Management System transactions
• Monitor warehouse utilisation and stock movements
• Ensure good housekeeping, safety and compliance standards
