Gracie originally belonged to an elderly woman who could no longer care for her. She was given to a new family, but they didn’t know how to gently integrate a sensitive cat into a bustling household filled with toddlers and barking dogs 🐶👶. Terrified, Gracie retreated to a windowsill behind a curtain, refusing to come down😿. If anyone reached out to touch her, she would hiss and smack—she was simply petrified.
In July 2021, while driving past on a sterilization run, we noticed Gracie sitting in that window 🚗. When we passed by again the next day and saw her still sitting there, intuition told us to pull over and investigate. Learning her situation, we asked if the family would surrender her to us—and they immediately agreed 🙏.
At first, Gracie acted like a wild feral cat 🐾. It took months of dedicated patience to win her trust and earn our very first gentle touch. But slowly, she blossomed ✨. Knowing we could never risk breaking her trust by moving her again, she’s staying with us forever. Gracie is finally at peace, gentle, safe, and truly home 🏠💖.

Little Minki had part of her tail amputated almost two weeks ago, but she’s recovered so well and is ready to find her forever home! 🩺✨
Minki is still a tiny bit nervous, but she is deeply, endlessly loving once she knows she’s safe. All she wants in the world is attention, chin scratches, and love.
She doesn’t need a perfectly quiet home, just a loving, patient mom or dad who will give her a little time and grace to settle in at her own pace. Promise you: that purr makes every second worth it!

🐾 UPDATE: Old Age Home Colony Success! 🐾

Yesterday afternoon we went out to trap and sterilize, and thanks to your amazing support, 5 females and 4 males from the old age home colony have been sterilized! 🎉
Seeing the transformation in this colony is everything. The cats we completed back in July are looking healthy, relaxed, and happy, and the constant fighting has stopped completely! 😺✨
We were out until 7 PM trying to trap the final female, but she proved to be a clever one and evaded the trap. We aren't giving up, though—we'll be going back for her! 💪

A huge thank you goes out to our incredible donors whose generosity directly funds this life-saving work.
We are so deeply grateful to Dr. Kat, who is always willing to jump in and help us make these sterilizations happen.
We also want to give a massive shoutout to Dr. Lucy and Mt. Croix Animal Hospital for generously offering to help sterilize our next colony project coming up shortly!

🚨 IT FEELS LIKE KITTENS ARE FALLING FROM THE SKY. 🚨

This kitten season is genuinely devastating us. We barely have a second to breathe.
Our latest arrival is yet another litter of terrified little souls who are shaking and completely overwhelmed by everything around them.
The one silver lining is that Mom cat is scheduled to be trapped and sterilized next week. Ending this cycle for her is a huge win, but the sheer volume of medical care, food, and supplies needed is drowning our resources.

Rescue Update: Sunday’s Little Crew! 🐾✨

We have some wonderful news!
Mom was successfully trapped and has now been sterilized. Meanwhile, her little ones are thriving! They have fantastic appetites and are growing stronger by the day. 🥣
They aren't quite ready for visitors just yet, but they will be open for meet-and-greets very soon.

Stunning Milan is still looking for a home to call her own. She is still very young, full of life, and incredibly playful—plus, she literally wears her heart on her nose! (She has the absolute cutest heart-shaped mark right on the tip of her nose ❤️).
