Future-Ready Learning in Eastern Cape!

Two state-of-the-art Robotics Labs have been launched at Cingani High School and Soqhayisa Secondary School in Motherwell, Gqeberha.

The initiative was inaugurated by Dr Reginah Mhaule, Deputy Minister of Basic Education, and Maude Modise, Managing Trustee of the Shoprite Foundation — marking a major step towards integrating digital skills and future technologies into South Africa’s basic education system.

These labs aim to empower learners with hands-on experience in robotics, coding, and critical thinking — preparing the next generation for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The Importance of Practicality in Coding & Robotics for Young Minds!

When it comes to coding and robotics, hands-on experience is everything! For young learners, understanding how things work through practical application fosters creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

By engaging with real-world projects, kids learn to break down complex problems into manageable steps, all while experimenting, failing, and trying again. This trial-and-error approach helps them grasp concepts deeply, and most importantly, have fun while learning!
