As I think about 2025 and all the challenges and joy experienced this year, I thought about what I want to remember from this year...

I want to remember the beautiful moments of joy that was found in the little things. I want to remember the moments of fear that was faced with courage. I want to remember the moments of hope when He was the only hope left. I want to remember the dreams that were held unto even when they seemed out of reach. The courage of continually showing up. The moments of choosing the way He showed me, instead of the way that seemed 'right' or acceptable.

So with 2026 in sight I wish you all a happy new year. May the focus be to build things that are new, and tearing down what's no longer true. To bravely owning your story and being fully in the moment. To unapologetically chasing God's purpose for your life and the dreams He has placed in your heart; to doing the work and resting with ease.

Here's to fun and much needed play, to wonder, adventure and curiosity alive in every day.

And here's to hope - the most couragous act, that defies all the odds and holds nothing back because we know who our hope is in.

When we experience trauma we start believing lies because of the trauma. Therapists call these lies "stuck points." If we don't effectively process the trauma and reconstruct these lies they become part of our being and control our life. It's not about re-living the trauma or getting stuck in the darkness, it's to stop allowing that darkness to guide and control you. To start believing and living according to truth.
