MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mme Nakedi Kekana, led a delegation of officials, including Ward Councillors MMC Desmond Moloto and MMC Nomonde Sivhabu, and Moletjie Traditional Authority, to Rametloane Primary School in Lonsdale, outside Polokwane. The team handed over agricultural inputs to the school as part of the department's back-to-school program.

This initiative aims to promote agricultural development, support local communities, and foster a culture of education and entrepreneurship among young people. Ramotloane Primary School, a public primary school in Lonsdale, will benefit from this program, which aligns with the department's goals of promoting agricultural development and supporting education.

The handover ceremony marked the culmination of the department's back-to-school efforts, which demonstrate the government's commitment to supporting education and agricultural development in local communities.

After the heavy rains on the 11th November 2024 which resulted with disaster. I called MMC Desmond Moloto and alerted him about the disaster. A team was dispatched to asses the damage and come up with a remedial plan. After two visits and finding the soil unworkable, finally today the municipal machinery was dispatched to the location and you can all see the end result.
