The Oral History Association of KwaZulu-Natal held its first Educators Tour at the Pietermaritzburg Archives Repository with Educators from Sifisesihle Primary and Berg Street Primary.

Day 2, and final day of the Oral History Workshop.

Nontobeko Ngubane presented a paper titled "Archiving the Unwritten: A community-Centered Approach".

The paper addresses the absence of detailed studies on the evolution of the Oral History Unit in KwaZulu-Natal Archives and Records Services. It further provides a profound analysis on the launch and implications of the Audio-Visual Channel as a platform for public access and data preservation.

The production of oral history in KZN Archives is community-driven as the OHU relies on knowledge, participation and the voices of communities-whether rural or urban-underscoring the community's position as the central partner.
