APPRECIATION AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Bethal Community Policing Forum (CPF)

The Bethal Community Policing Forum (CPF) hereby formally expresses its appreciation to ACSU Security Bethal for the installation of surveillance cameras at the intersection of Golden Ray Street and Van Riebeeck Street, Bethal.

We have been informed that the camera system has contributed positively to monitoring activities within the area. During the early morning hours on a recent date, a person was observed via the surveillance system walking in the street. In accordance with their standard operational procedures, the ACSU CCTV Control Room monitored the situation and dispatched a reaction unit to the location for further assessment.

The reaction unit attended the scene and engaged with the individual present. The matter was handled in a routine manner, and no further incident was reported.

This occurrence highlights the potential value of surveillance infrastructure as a preventative and monitoring tool within the community. The presence of such systems may contribute to enhanced situational awareness and support broader community safety initiatives.

In light of the positive operational support observed, Bethal CPF expresses its interest in exploring the possibility of additional camera installations within sector areas and streets, subject to the necessary approvals, compliance requirements, and available resources.

Bethal CPF acknowledges and appreciates the ongoing cooperation, professionalism, and community-focused efforts demonstrated by ACSU Security Bethal in contributing to public safety initiatives.

Piet Retief Gemeenskap Noodforum

Sterk vennootskappe red lewens.
Gesamentlike optrede versterk veiligheid.

ACSU Security confirms the successful conclusion of a coordinated operation following a remote jamming and theft out of a motor vehicle incident that occurred at Woodhill Mall, Piet Retief.

Information regarding the incident was received from the on-site security service provider, WGI, requesting immediate assistance. ACSU Security Piet Retief responded promptly and, in collaboration with Agri Piet Retief, gathered and disseminated critical intelligence relating to the suspects and the suspect vehicle.
