When emotions run high, our judgment runs low.

That is why it is always advisable to take a step back when a matter hits too close to home. Distance brings clarity. When you are caught up in pain, anger, or fear, your vision narrows and you react instead of thinking. But when you step back, even for a few hours or a day, emotions cool and the facts can surface.

Taking a step back does not mean you do not care — it means you care enough to judge rightly.

TROUBLE is not a sign of failure or lack of faith.

When you find yourself facing something, it does not mean that you have failed or do not faith. Remember that scripture in Job 5:7, alludes that "man is born to trouble", therefore we are bound to face trouble in this world.

Even the righteous face storms. Job was a righteous man, the enemy had no hold over him, but regardless of being righteous God permitted the enemy to test Job.

If Joseph had jumped, he would not have become the prime minister of Egypt.
If Moses had jumped, he would not have become the deliverer of Israel.
If David had jumped, he would not have become the king of Israel.
If the disciples had jumped, they would not have become apostles.
If Jesus had jumped, He would not have become the Savior and Messiah.
