Thank you to all clubs, delegates, players, and supporters who attended the DDA EXCO Meeting and DDA Close Singles.
The meeting was a great success with positive discussions and valuable input from all clubs represented. We appreciate the commitment shown towards the growth and future of darts within DDA.
The DDA Close Singles also delivered a fantastic afternoon of competitive darts, great sportsmanship, and club pride. Congratulations to all players who participated and contributed to a successful event.
A special thank you to our M&R, Mervyn Isaacs, for all the time and effort put into arranging and coordinating the day’s proceedings. Your dedication and hard work are truly appreciated. 👏

Total of 28 men & 10 ladies participate (out total of 93 registered members)
Ronald Cupido did a LIFETIME performance producing a MASTER-CLASS 10-darts finish.
In the MEN final an outstanding performance by both players draw every breath of the audience. Shane come all guns blazing from the start to show Leon he means business. Not letting the audience down, Leon came back with a MATCH SAVING 10-DARTER check out on 140
The final game keep everyone glued to their seats as Shane finally clinch a nail biting game by winning 5-4
Similar outstanding Darts was delivered in the Plate Section where the 2 DKD players Valanzio & Naas with Valanzio being VICTORIES in the end.
In the Silver Section Final newcomer Thys Nieuwoudt takes on an inform Ronald Cupido in a thrilling encounter. Thys came out tops
Newcomer youth player Steph Jonker also had an impressive & outstanding day at the office. Performing well and constant in the round Robin fase, he played against Lucian Carolissen in a game that have gone both ways Steph keeping his nerve against his older contender close the game under pressure.
The LADIES didn't step back to their male counterparts and also puts on a brilliant display of darts
Silver Section
In the semi finals it was AN ALL FAMILY AFFAIR when both MOTHER-DAUGHTER has to show who were better. Well.... the MOTHER came out tops
Juanita shows her true talent against El-zari who never let go on her consistency in the game. Juanita being victories at the end.
Friends becoming ravils for a few minutes on the dartboard. Every match between these 2 will always be a thriller. Olivia & Elizma took it down to the last Dart... With OLIVIA taking the honor of being crowned champion.
