As we step into this New Year, we rise with hope renewed, strength restored, and faith unshaken. This is not just another year, it is a new season. A season where God is doing a new thing in your life, even if you cannot yet see it.

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
Isaiah 43:19

Women of Hope, whatever weighed you down last year, you will not carry it into this one. God goes before you. He strengthens you for every assignment, every challenge, and every dream placed in your heart.

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.”
Isaiah 43:18

This year, you will arise and shine, not because life is perfect, but because the Lord is your light. You are clothed with courage, wisdom, and grace for such a time as this.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.”

May this New Year bring:
- Peace where there was anxiety
- Strength where there was weariness
- Hope where there was uncertainty

Our facilitator for the workshop holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from the University of the Free State (UFS), a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Stellenbosch University (US), and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Port Elizabeth (UPE).

He is the Faculty Head of Management of People and Managerial Leadership at a tertiary institution. In this capacity, he leads initiatives aimed at enhancing leadership capabilities within organizations.

To All Women: A Message of Self-Care and Love

As we near the end of another year, it's a perfect time to pause, reflect, and think about you. Yes, you. The woman who gives endlessly, loves deeply, and sacrifices without hesitation for those around her. While your care for your children, spouse, and family is beautiful and noble, it is vital to remember this simple truth: you cannot pour from an empty cup.

Self-care is not selfish; it is essential. You deserve moments of peace, happiness, and growth. You deserve "me" time—time to reconnect with yourself, recharge your spirit, and rediscover what makes your heart smile. Your well-being is not only a gift to yourself but also to those you love, because a nurtured and fulfilled you is the best version of you.

As you reflect on this year, ask yourself: Am I truly loving and caring for myself as much as I do for others? If the answer is no, let this be the moment to start prioritising your own happiness and health. Take the time to rest, to dream, to grow. Do the things that bring you joy, whether it’s a quiet moment with a book, a walk in the park, or simply sitting still and embracing the beauty of now.

You are worthy of love—especially your own love. Let this be the year where you find balance, embrace self-care, and step boldly into a future where your happiness is a priority. After all, when you thrive, so does everyone around you.
