πŸ† The Siyaphakama U11 League Finals are done and dusted!

After 5 weeks of competition (and plenty of weather delays 🌧️), our young athletes finally got their chance to battle it out for the titles. Congratulations to all the winning teams, Isaac Booi girls rugby and Emsengeni Primary School, who walked away with three trophies! πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‰βš½πŸ

And can we talk about the coaches? 😎 Our team was rocking their brand-new Adidas kit and looking the part all day!

βš½πŸ† Exactly one week ago, we celebrated World Football Giving Day with a U9 6-a-side football tournament hosted by our NASSH Programme.

All six of our partner schools took part in a fun-filled day of football, giving our young players the opportunity to showcase their skills and enjoy the beautiful game.

After some exciting matches, Bethelsdorp Primary School and Triomf Primary School made it through to the final. Triomf came out on top to lift the trophy and be crowned champions! πŸ†πŸ‘ This was a special moment for Triomf, especially after their U13 side narrowly missed out on the trophy in their own 6-a-side final.

The day wasn't only about the children though! πŸ˜‚ A staff vs coaches match also took place, and the coaches made sure to remind everyone exactly why they're the coaches. Safe to say the staff received a football lesson they won't forget anytime soon! ⚽🀣

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success, and well done to all the players who took part.

8 DAYS TO GO UNTIL ⚽️🌍

Every football session is about more than just the game. Through our Keep Active Programme, children are staying active, building confidence, learning teamwork, and enjoying safe spaces in their communities.

Football has a way of bringing people together and creating opportunities both on and off the field.

This is Football for Good πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦

πŸ₯Š 1300 reasons to keep punching forward!

Boxing is still one of the newer additions to our Keep Active Programme, but the response from children has been incredible. This year, In just a few months, we’ve already reached over 1300 child engagements through boxing sessions this year.

These numbers show the growing love for the sport and the impact that active, positive spaces can have on young people’s lives. πŸ‘Š

And this is only the beginning.

80% Improvement in Movement Skills πŸ“ŠπŸ”₯

At United Through Sport, our Learn to Move Programme is designed to strengthen gross motor skills for Grade 3 learners, building coordination, balance, and confidence from the ground up.

Since the start of the programme this year, we’ve seen an 80% improvement in learners’ movement abilities compared to their baseline assessments.

This means better coordination, more confidence in sport, and a stronger foundation for both physical and cognitive development.

Real data. Real growth. Real impact. πŸ’ͺ
