We are happy to be represented by one of our members at the recent River Clean-Up!

On 25 April 2026, Environmental Science Rhodes University partnered with River Rescue to host a community clean-up at Scotts Farm. Today For Tomorrow T4T proudly joined in through the active participation of our chairperson, who worked alongside fellow students and volunteers to restore and protect our river environment.

This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to environmental awareness, community empowerment, and sustainable action. Every bag of waste collected is a step toward healthier ecosystems and stronger communities.

Together, we are building tomorrow—starting today.

Millennium Fellowship Session 4 | University of Venda

Today For Tomorrow T4T proudly joined the University of Venda’s Millennium Fellows for a powerful Session 4, hosted with support from the Directorate of Community Engagement, Entrepreneurship, Inclusive Innovation, and Commercialisation.

We were honored to be joined virtually by Prof. Vhonani Netshandama, Director of the Directorate, whose presence and encouragement added depth to the session and affirmed the importance of youth-led innovation and community impact.

This session showcased nine inspiring student-led projects advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), from climate action and mental health to education, water access, and indigenous knowledge. Fellows were joined by community supporters and project collaborators, including leaders from T4T, who continue to walk alongside these changemakers.

What made this session special? Fellows didn’t just present their ideas but they explored how to collaborate across projects, build lasting partnerships, and continue making an impact long after the Fellowship ends.

📌 Highlights include:
✅ Climate literacy and tree planting in rural communities
✅ Mental health awareness for students
✅ Tutoring support for learners without academic guidance
✅ Advocacy for clean water access
✅ Conservation of indigenous medicinal plants
✅ Book clubs and entrepreneurial mindset development
✅ Financial literacy and communication skills for children
✅ Peer education on health and gender-based violence

At T4T, we believe in rooted leadership, shared legacy, and youth-led transformation. Today’s session was a reminder that the future is already growing right here, in the hearts and hands of young leaders.

Wetland & Stream Cleanup – Thohoyandou P West

Protecting our water, preserving our future!
As part of our ongoing campaign in Thohoyandou P West, the T4T team extended our cleanup efforts to the nearby wetland and stream—critical ecosystems that deserve our care and protection.

This action was proudly aligned with the We Are Nature Youth Biodiversity Challenge, reinforcing our role as guardians of biodiversity and contributors to the global mission of living in harmony with nature by 2050.

Thank you to every young leader who stepped into nature with purpose. Your hands and hearts are shaping a better tomorrow.

Street Cleanup – Thohoyandou P West

Restoring our streets, one step at a time!
Today For Tomorrow T4T successfully led a youth-driven cleanup campaign in Thohoyandou P West, where we tackled litter and plastic waste across the streets and public spaces. This effort was part of our contribution to the We Are Nature Youth Biodiversity Challenge, reminding us that environmental action begins right where we live.

Through this campaign, we proudly advanced the global goal of living in harmony with nature by 2050, as outlined in the Global Biodiversity Framework.

Huge thanks to every volunteer who showed up with gloves, energy, and commitment. Together, we’re building a cleaner, prouder community.
