World Health Day emphasises the power of science and global collaboration to protect health for people, animals, plants, and the planet.
World Health Day is an annual global health observance organised by the World Health Organization (WHO) to raise awareness about pressing health issues and mobilize action worldwide.

2026 Theme: “Together for Health. Stand with Science,” focuses on the importance of scientific collaboration and multilateral cooperation in addressing global health challenges. The campaign emphasizes the One Health approach, recognising the interconnected health of humans, animals, plants, and ecosystems. It highlights how scientific evidence can be translated into real-world action to prevent diseases, improve food safety, and strengthen health systems.

Northwood Children's Hospice is on the brink of a new In-Patient Hospice site development fully aligned with the objectives of World Health Day.

Together we will ensure that every child has a healthy tomorrow.

Easter is a powerful reminder that hope, renewal, and redemption are always possible. It is a time to reflect on faith, gratitude, and the promise of new life.

Easter is a time for reflection, gratitude, and celebration. Remember during Easter:

⭐️Gratitude: Reflect on the blessings in your life and the Savior's love for you.
⭐️Service: Serve others and strive to be more like Christ.
⭐️Hope: Easter brings hope and new beginnings, so take time to think about the future and what it holds for you.
⭐️Faith: Remember the faith you have in the Savior and the hope you have in Him.
⭐️Community: Share your Easter joy with family and friends, and participate in community activities.

These reflections can help you cherish the Easter season and make it a memorable time for you and your family.
