organisation are positive, energetic, optimistic, goal driven and vibrant. They have all accumulated various skills (education and experience) throug

hout the years which they believe can be put into good use in giving back to their community

The purpose of our organisation (Mondlo Association Progress) is to bridge the gap between governmental services and the needs of the community. The process of minimizing this gap was firstly introduced by our former President, Mr Thabo Mbeki in his State of Nation Address on the 14th of February 2006. This declared the birth of Community Development Workers (CDW’s). These are Active members in society who aim to break what is known as the ‘deprivation trap’ in communities especially in the rural and township areas where there is limited distribution of information. The
organisation plans to gather as much useful information and bring it back to the people, whether be health; education and social issues. We want to create an environment where community members will not feel inferior about coming forward with whatever problems they might be facing
