And then there’s the Diterelo Bathong Party. Could this be the political party that will lead the community of Vaalwater into the promised land?

So far, we’ve heard some positive stories about the party and its vision for the community. One of their key goals is reportedly to ensure that residents have access to basic necessities, including reliable water.

They've already bought and installed water taps for the community in Extension 04 and 05, and they are planning to do the same at Buru. They are very informative about everything!

What stands out is their willingness to stand up and fight for the people of Vaalwater, raising issues that directly affect the community and pushing for better living conditions. If they continue putting the interests of the community first, perhaps Diterelo Bathong could become a voice that Vaalwater has been waiting for.

According to Waterberg Wave FM, a shack caught fire in Extension 5, Vaalwater, during broad daylight today.

The fire resulted in the destruction of several household belongings, including a bed, blankets and wooden poles.

The incident was reportedly noticed by residents and leaders of the Ditirelo Bathong Party while they were concluding a meeting and waiting for the Mayor to address them regarding concerns over the alleged disconnection of communal taps and the installation of water tanks in the area.

Residents and party members acted swiftly to contain the fire, with other community members also assisting by bringing water from their homes.

According to local Ditirelo Bathong Party leaders, it is alleged that the fire may have been caused by a wood stove that was recently distributed to community members. However, the exact cause of the fire has not yet been verified.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the owners of the shack were not at home when the fire broke out.

Questions are being raised over the current state of the Leseding Community Sports Centre, where millions of rand were allegedly spent on the development of the facility.

Vaalwater Road Accident Leaves Melkrivier School Learner Injured

According to Waterberg Wave FM, a Melkrivier School learner was reportedly injured after being struck by a hardbody van in Vaalwater on Wednesday morning.

The learner was taken to hospital by ambulance, while the driver was reportedly taken into police custody.
