Can you believe that some people is kwaad because a person enjoy the culture of Malay Choirs and Minstrels (Klopse)... For me it's a sport and it's a sport for all ages even if you have a disability....it's something that brings people together and it create a spirit of fun and happiness...Just by the comments positive and negative it shows that it's something you either love or hate. Speaking to people whilst on the street parade and on the stadium, they share stories of how klops was way back and how it's now. But one think for it's something that attracts attention form all over the world.
My love for the game is the singing where are belong to both a Malay Choir (Ottomans) and Klops (Juvie Boys Entertainers -JBE) Singpak. And believe me it's quit an experience and the blend of both youth, adults and elders give a person so much ❤️. Joy.
And I took it a challenge to walk that long walks in town, in the townships where we had the traditional "tafels" and mine and many other people favorite the Klopse Jol around te famous Athlone Stadium.
So please moetie kwaad raak as my sports like nie....daars mense ver ouer as my en mense in wheel chairs and met crutches wat saam jol tot laat toe....en die klopse base kyk oek goed na hul mense...jy kry kos vir die dag en jy kry lekker geregte by die tafels en hul sorg dat jy huis toe gebeung word na die lang dag ....
So be a sport and let us play the game for the love it......Viva La klops, Viva La Malay choirs...
