I am not politically Affiliated nor have I interests of being an affiliate. However our National flag, means a lot to me as a south African. Our history, and historical encounters, transition and unity we represent or perhaps trying to portray. A reminder of whom we are, where we come from and where we want to go. A symbolism of what we stand for as a South African.
Burning the flag YES IT OFFENDS ME. I AM GREATLY OFFENDED. I FEEL UNDERMINED, AND THOSE WHO DIED FOR THESE FREEDOM WE TRYING TO ENJOY. EVEN THOUGH TRUTH BE TOLD. IT IS DIFFICULT TO ENJOY IT as the history now and then surfaces.( segregation and hatrate towards blacks). Regardless of race you should be offended too. A betrayal of our country and what we stand for as a country's men. "PEACE IN OUR LAND"!
